Moneyness: What happens to the Afghanistan central bank's assets?

Is there any way of shorting a currency other than the "traditional" way of borrowing it via a loan? I imagine liquidity issues might turn attempts to short the AF$ into a ticking time bomb of sorts.

You’d use a derivative, although at this point I’d imagine the move is already priced in (unless you want to gamble on total collapse).
