Rep. Barbara Lee voted against war in Afghanistan. She was mocked for it

As a person who grew up in Montana, one of the history lessons we learned was about Janette Rankin, who was the first woman elected to either body of legislature. This was before she was allowed to vote. What is similar is that she voted against going to war in WWI. She was elected a second time, and voted against going to war in WWII. She was a pacifist, so her vote was not that surprising. But she did catch no small amount of feedback.
