I purchased a pair of S21s when released. They went back in less than 24 hours. The amount of bloat and spyware preloaded was egregious. I posted a write up on Reddit about the experience and it was amazing to see how quickly an army of defenders came to Samsung's side and dismissed all notion of privacy and device ownership in the name of such great hardware. Some were stating that there would be no way for Samsung to turn a profit if it's phones didn't come with software that's uninstallable like Facebook and Samsung's own apps.
Won't ever buy a Samsung device again.

There must be a small fraction of the market that cares, but making your customer have more privacy has worked for apple, at least marketing wise.
